The program matches volunteer teens who are interested in tutoring adults and seniors to use technology, including computers, software and the Internet. The program connect adults with modern technology, while offering young people a chance to develop teaching skills and self confidence in a one-on-one setting. Tech-savvy young people between the ages of 13 and 19 are the mentors. The teens learn to use library technology and resources, develop curriculum and teaching techniques, help with community outreach, and work one-on-one with adults interested in learning how to use technology. dults/Seniors who would like one-on-one help learning to use technology are the mentees. The adults get individualized instruction and assistance using technology that matters. If you are a teen interested in signing up for this program click here.
